We love writing about Green Hills in Nashville – it’s an easy topic because the homes there are just gorgeous and when you live there, you’re surrounded by many comforts.

Green Hills is an upscale neighborhood home to some iconic Southern homes and estates. The homes in Green Hills tend to sit on larger lots than those in other parts of the city, which makes the area desirable for those who are in search of big backyards but want to stay close to Nashville. You will find an assortment of ranch-style homes here that were built between the 1940s and 1960s, as well as other popular styles found in cities throughout the South, like Greek revival, cottage and traditional. New construction is also scattered through the neighborhood’s peaceful, tree-lined streets, and some condominiums are available. The average sales price is around $495,000 for a home in this established neighborhood.

Known also for The Mall at Green Hills, this area of Nashville is established as the hub of chic stores and upscale shopping.  The historic Bluebird Cafe calls Green Hills its home as does many of Nashville’s best public schools, including a few in the Top Five Elementary Schools in Nashville.

We love Green Hills so much that we have added it to the neighborhoods we’re profiling through video. Enjoy the video about Green Hills below.
