We often write about where to live in Nashville – it’s an easy topic because each area is unique and they all have their own amenities.
Belle Meade is an upscale area that is its own independent city within Davidson County. Belle Meade streets have distinct signage, the city has its own police force, its own mayor and its own city hall. The Belle Meade area is designated by the ZIP code 37205.
Home to expansive lots for iconic Southern homes and estates, most of the land that makes up the city was formerly Belle Meade Plantation. Belle Meade Boulevard ends at the main historic entrance for Percy Warner Park, the city’s largest park, and the street is also adjacent to Cheekwood, the historic mansion, botanical gardens, and art museum.
